• Dan Hansen – Spring 2011

A large bold plum eye around the yellow-green throat, while a wide matching plum edge adorns the tips of the egg shell petals, which actually re-curve back farther than the sepals, creating a distinct look on this “tweener” flower. From the Sioux Indians, meaning “eternal flower”, this daylily lives up to it’s name and with a bud count of 20 and 4 way branching it is truly a delight to see this blossom…many blooms over a long period of time. (Pronounced “eye ON uh”)
